Our Team

Fred Parry, Yacht Broker

Fred Parry

Yacht Broker & General Manager

Fred feels fortunate to have been born into a recreational boating family as it has led to a lifetime of wonderful experiences and a different way of looking at life too. Growing up in a river community on the path of the original Erie Canal, he has enjoyed boats and boating starting at a very early age. His parents summered along the shores of Cayuga Lake where he worked as a teen at a local marina.

He has owned and enjoyed many types of boats including cabin cruisers, hydroplanes, a classic 1930’s mahogany runabout, numerous catamarans, and various mono hull sailing vessels, His varied professional career has included stints as a licensed aircraft mechanic, manufacturer’s representative and also a long career as a territory, district and regional sales manager for several domestic and international companies both large and small.

Fred’s sales and management experience combined with his extensive boating knowledge serves him well as a yacht broker for Empire Yacht Sales. He also is well known in the central New York boating community which enables him to network with other boaters to connect buyers and sellers.

Dave Eshbaugh, Yacht Broker

Dave Eshbaugh

Yacht Broker & Certified Hunter Sales Professional

Dave has had a passion for boating since he was 12. Like most kids he started out learning how to handle runabouts and one-design sailboats. He’s been on boats ever since, owning both power boats and sailboats. And he’s no stranger to racing either. He has raced competitively in several one design classes as well as PHRF classes. His current vessel is a 36’ twin engine trawler.

Dave has offered his time and insights to many local boating organizations. He’s been active in several yacht clubs, serving as a board member, as a Commodore and in various flag officer positions. He is a past director and President of the Oswego Maritime Alliance and has taught weather and piloting as a member of the US Power Squadron. He also holds a 100 Ton Coast Guard license for both power and sail.

With his extensive experience and passion for boating, Dave is uniquely qualified to assist both buyers and sellers in the pre-owned boat market. Put simply, he knows what he is talking about and is able to bring buyers and sellers together with ease.

As the former owner of his own engineering practice, Dave has brought his professionalism and attention to detail to the brokerage business. He is a Certified Yacht Broker and he knows every facet of the sale process to make sure you are protected every step of the way.

Cheryl Feagans

Cheryl Feagans

Owner & Sales Coordinator

Cheryl and her husband Tim are lifelong boaters. For most of this time they have been sailing, starting with an O’Day 27 and then a Tartan 37 which they used for many years off the coast of Maine. Up until recently they have been sailing a Hunter 40 from Fair Point Marina on Lake Ontario.

Earlier this year, Cheryl and Tim decided to give power boating a try. They now have a Sea Ray 330. They have already made several trips with the boat and are enjoying it immensely. On a recent trip, Cheryl said “I love this, but I think we need a sailboat too. One of each would be nice!” It was music to Tim’s ears.

In addition to owning Fair Point Marina and Empire Yacht Sales with her husband, Cheryl handles all of the closing work for boat closings and provides back office support to our yacht brokers. Her outstanding attention to detail ensures that each transaction is closed properly, with no surprises for either buyer or seller.
